On Monday, April 21st, 2025, LIZ in collaboration with Put A Smile hosted a powerful Prison Outreach event at the Maximum Security Custodial Centre, Port Harcourt, with the inspiring theme: “Cultural Diversity – Preserving Cultural Heritage.”
This unique initiative aimed to bring healing, expression, and unity to incarcerated individuals through the beauty of culture and tradition.
Celebrating Our Cultural Tapestry
The event kicked off at 12:00 noon, transforming the environment into a lively display of identity, heritage, and hope. Participants and facilitators joined together to celebrate the richness of Nigerian culture—and its power to unite and uplift.
